The war has finally started, today, it's no longer the clash between human nor Titans, but it is the clash between the burgers of the ninja and the little young girl, which is the new franchise Ninja Joe and world renown Wendy.
This Ninja Joe that I went is located somewhere in Sunway Pyramid and it's quite unnoticeable just like the ninjas that like to act stealthily. Thanks to my generosity, I'm giving you the clue to find it. This ninja likes to stay near to toilet bowls which is odorless and toilet that gives out scent of food. Their burger is simple, it is made up of a slice of patty, some lettuce, tomatoes and a burger bun. The special part is that you get to choose the sauce you preferred to put in it. The choices available are black pepper, chili, teriyaki and 3 other type of sauces. In this restaurant, the more burger u buy the cheaper it cost you per burger, so it's better you go with your friends instead of going yourself. The most important part of this restaurant which attracted me is because they are selling pork burgers which are relatively rare in Malaysia(cause it's an Islamic country). Here are the pictures of it.
The logo is quite interesting and cute isn't it?
We ordered three burgers that day : Spicy, Teriyaki and black pepper
The burger's size is small
For the opponent, Wendy, we ordered two beef burgers where one of them is a half pounder and the other one is a quarter pounder.
If you can't make a comparison on the above picture, maybe these will give you a better idea on the burger's( half pounder) size
The ninja's pork patty is very tasty, succulent and tender which is very special from patty made from other types of meat that we usually eat in this country. However, the size, quality of the bun used is most probably from a cheap quality and the salad in the burger consists only lettuce and only few given which has made the burger lost in its appearance. Moreover, among those three flavors, only the black pepper sauce could actually fit with the taste of the burger itself, the spicy sauce is a complete mismatch to me and the teriyaki sauce which supposed to be the perfect match with this burger, as it is a Japanese burger was a disappointment because of the poor taste of the teriyaki sauce.
Unlike the Ninja's, Wendy's burger is a different story. Big slices of tomato, onions, fermented cucumber, cheese and loads of lettuce. The burger looks so appealing that you want to get a bite on it real soon. Although the patty isn't as succulent as the Ninja's patty, but it has it's own special flavor that combines well with other ingredients. Despite the price which is more expensive than the Ninja's burger, I would still choose the Wendy's as the size and satisfaction it gives me definitely worth the extra penny.
So for this round, Wendy win!!!
